DO YOU PROVIDE APPOINTMENTS?
Yes, we encourage our clients to schedule appointments to complete their returns. Times vary by season.
DO YOU EFILE TAX RETURNS?
Yes, we are an authorized IRS EFILE provider.
DO YOU PROVIDE DIRECT DEPOSIT?
You may receive direct deposit of your refund as long as you have proof of a valid Checking or Savings account. Your name MUST be listed on the active account.
Do you accept credit cards for payment?
Yes, we currently accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. We also accept debit/ pre-paid cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo. Additionally, we now offer a hassle & worry free banking product that will allow you to pay Maxx Taxx directly from your tax return!
DO YOU TAKE CHECKS?
Yes, we accept NON-postdated checks. Please be advised that we charge $35.00 for all returned checks.
We also accept, cashier’s checks or money orders made payable to Maxx Taxx, LLC.
I FILED MY TAXES, NOW WHAT?
You may check your filing status at any time by going to http://www.irs.gov/ . Click the link “where is my refund” on the right side of your screen under “filing and payment”. On the following screen, under option 3, click “where’s my refund” and provide the following information when prompted:
You may use Where’s My Refund? to start checking on the status of your return within 24 hours after the IRS has received your e-filed return or 4 weeks after you mail a paper return.
HOW CAN I TRACK MY REFUND?
Where’s My Refund? has a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages: (1) Return Received,
(2) Refund Approved and (3) Refund Sent.
You will get personalized refund information based on the processing of your tax return. The tool will provide an actual refund date as soon as the IRS processes your tax return and approves your refund. Remember, most refunds will be issued in less than 21 days, and phone and walk-in representatives can research the status of your refund only if it’s been 21 days or more since you filed electronically or more than 6 weeks since you mailed your paper return.
